Southpoint Access has launched its first SoDu We Have Favorites - a community-driven contest to spotlight businesses, places, and people that make life here special.

I'm collecting nominations through May 15. After that, I’ll put the top nominees up for a final vote. Hoping to announce winners in June.

Businesses don't have to be based around Southpoint to be nominated - my neighbors and I don't mind traveling 20-30 minutes for great experiences. (We've already received nominations for restaurants in Chapel Hill, downtown Durham, Cary, and Morrisville - as long as it's in easy reach of the South Durham area, it should be just fine!)
