Hi y’all

I’m a solo female traveler with a medium sized dog leaving MTL in a van towards the US for about 8 days.

I’m looking for nice campgrounds/areas to park with the van to enjoy some views, swimming and nice walks. If anyone has any recommendations about cities close to water that have a lot of dog-friendly spots, I’d so appreciate it!

Since it’s a short trip, I really want to make the most of it and not necessarily do several days of driving. My first stop is Westmore, Vermont (White Caps Campground) since I had to book at least my first 2 nights as proof for Customs.

Truly any tip or relevant experience is much appreciated!
