26M. Small, red bump on my scrotum that has stayed unchanged for 3 days. While taking a shower, I felt that a part of my balls hurt after I rinsed it. I'm thinking it could have been wounded by some dirt picked up by my soap after I dropped it.
There is no fluid, weeping, clear discharge, yellow pus, or crusting. The center and edges are totally dry. The surrounding skin looks normal. There is no spreading redness, severe swelling, heat, or warmth around the area. There is a single hair sticking out at the center.
It is mildly tender if directly touched or if tight clothing rubs against it, but it does not cause severe pain, throbbing, or deep aching.
I have no fever, no swollen lymph nodes in my groin, no body aches, and no burning when I urinate. No existing medical issues. Not under any medications. No smoking, occasional social drinking, no recreational drugs.
I am also sexually active with male partners. My last activity was on July 5th, I noticed this on July 10th.
Could this just be a skin tear, ingrown hair, or an STI? Any medical insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
