Found a dead magpie in my back garden last night and the only method I can use to preserve the bones is putting it in a plant pot, I'm not sure how big of a pot I need for a bird that size. I'm planning on putting it in a mesh laundry bag to keep the bones together, I'm guessing I need to leave space between the bird and the bottom of the pot?
