dynasty bestball with my cat
Long story short my cat turned 18 yesterday so to celebrate the attendees of his party, including him, (auto)drafted a dynasty bestball league with only rookies and with 3 total roster slots: superflex, flex, bench. The winner each year will receive a signed framed photo of my cat and if he wins everyone will get a photo (it's what he would want).
But while it's fun to see if you can beat your cat at fantasy football, the REAL test will be whether he can establish a dynasty year after year, with the league only adding a new rookie draft every May. My question is what's the best way to handle offseason trades with my cat's team? He shouldn't have any systemic advantages or disadvantages in order to definitively establish whether he's better at this than me, which means he should be able to accept some trades to help him in win now mode or to rebuild as necessary. I was thinking maybe I put two catnip toys in front of him for yes/no with each trade offer but I want to make sure it can't be gamed. Thoughts?
