Is this biofilm or something bad?

It's a thin gooey layer floating off of tank items. I first noticed it on the few real plants I have in there but I now see it on everything in there. My girl seems okay and I haven't noticed any fungus on her so I kinda ruled that out. I'm assuming it's just biofilm but it bothers me that I'm not sure

She was listed as a melanistic wild type. I dont care what she was listed as though, I saw her and fell in love. But I do wonder if she really is what she was listed as. She looks black until under light in which case she is blackish with lighter patches. Her stomach is white and it creeps up the side of her cheek. She's also developed a slightly lighter patch right on her forehead, I thought it was damage to her slime coat at first but it is just a bit lighter and is similar in color to her tail. Her tail is also very light and as you can see spotted. Her gills get a pretty dark blackish purpleish until she eats and then they turn the amazing bright pink like they are in the picture.

She's tubbed rn because she hurt her tail in her tank and I wanted to make sure the knick was healing okay. That is not her actual tub, she was just in the small bin while I got her clean water.

Okay, I posted a week ago because I had nitrites in my cycle that shouldn't have been there. I was told to dose with seachem stability for a week so I did. I had dead worms and frozen brine shrimp in there as an ammonia source, kept my axolotl tubbed and doaed every day for 7 days. It tested perfect multiple days in a row before I put my axolotl back in. I tested the water a few hours after putting her back in there and it was still stable. This morning I tested again because she had more noticeable red spots, I believe blood vessels showing because of bad tank water which she had before when I found nitrite. And it came back with nitrite and Nitrates, I know this means the cycle is almost finished but I am so confused on how they were gone and then came back.

The other problem is that she was so happy to be back in there, she got new sand and plants and a new cave and spent all of yesterday hanging out inside of it. I feel really bad that I have to tub her again. Now she's mad at me and refusing to eat her nightcrawler even though she normally will eat anything I give her.

I had to use the flash for the photo because there isn't good lighting at the moment, but she has these little red dots almost looking like veins, but I never really noticed them before.

She is tubbed while her tank finishes cycling, her nitrites where high a week or two ago and I've been fixing the tank while she stays cozy in a tub. (this is her food/water change tub rn, she's staying in a bigger one). Could the nitrite have done it or maybe stress? I'm just worried because all I see when I look up red dots is red leg bacteria, but I don't think it's that?

Edit: I also have an Indian almond leaf in her larger tub to help with any skin irritation that might have occurred when her tank got messed up. I also have methylene blue arriving in the mail tomorrow to have just in case, so if that would help I can give her a blue bath.
