1 YOE SDE stuck in toxic company with 3-year bond — should I switch now or stay?

I have 1 year of experience as an SDE, but I don’t know what to do next.

I’m currently working as an SDE in a company with a 3-year bond. My tech stack is .NET, Angular, and Azure services like Blob Storage, Azure Functions, Service Bus, and Event Hub. My salary is 4 LPA. I have 10 months of full-time experience and completed a 2-month internship at the same company.

The work environment has no work-life balance and there is too much pressure. They easily fire employees and sometimes mark them as absconding. Right now, I feel stuck. I’m even wondering whether I should intentionally perform poorly, get fired, and still try to get an experience letter.

Is it easy to find another job with 1 year of experience in the current market? I hear many people saying, “Don’t switch now, it’s hard to find jobs even for experienced candidates. Since you only have 1 YOE, it’s better to stay.”

At the same time, the learning in this company is actually very good. So I’m confused: should I stay here for 3 years, gain strong knowledge, and switch later, or should I try to switch now? Please help me decide.

Also, one employee tried to leave the company properly, but they didn’t give him relieving documents. They said he would only get his experience letter after 6 months from his relieving date, and they threatened to file a case against him.
