Hi everyone,

I’m completely new to trading and looking for practical advice on where to start. I’d appreciate recommendations for beginner-friendly platforms, YouTube channels, books, forums, subreddits, or anything else that helps explain the basics in a real-world way.

I’m 30, have spent most of my life hustling and trying different business ideas, but now I want to focus on building a real skill that could eventually generate income. My long-term goal is to become consistently profitable and possibly trade full-time one day.

I know this won’t happen overnight, but I’m willing to put in the time to learn properly. Any advice, resources, or beginner mistakes to avoid would be greatly appreciated.

Lately at work I’ve been cycling through YouTube videos from Steven Dux. They seem pretty popular, so I’m wondering if anyone here has real experience with his content.

I get that you shouldn’t take anything at face value, and there’s always that question of “if he’s such a great trader, why focus on content?”, but I’m curious what more experienced people think.
