Sea-Doo Hull Repair Help

I have a 2020 RXT that has damage on the V of the hull. I was noticing a damp spot under the hull while it was on the trailer so I filled the hull with water to see if it was leaking and sure enough, there is a very slow weep (if you will) of about a drop every hour.

Hull is comprised of two-layers, an exterior acrylic (plastic) layer and fiberglass composite. I've been doing some research and I'm wondering if this proposed repair will work.

  1. Grind down the damage until structurally sound fiberglass is visible.
  2. Fill in exterior area with G/Flex 655 epoxy adhesive.
  3. Reinforce interior with polyester resin and matting.

Any thoughts or advice is very much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
