Possible mold/water damage in fixer-upper. How serious does this look from the photos?

Hi everyone,

I’m looking at buying a fixer-upper house and these photos show some of the areas I’m concerned about.

I know nobody can confirm mold from pictures alone, but I’m trying to get a better idea of whether this looks like:

normal dirt/staining from neglect
water damage
possible mold growth
something that should make me walk away unless it’s professionally inspected

The worst-looking areas are the flooring near the kitchen/entry area and some questionable bedroom/bathroom spots.

Before buying, would you recommend a general home inspection, a separate mold inspection, moisture meter testing, air/surface testing, or having a remediation company look at it?

Also, if this is mold/water damage, what signs should I look for during a walkthrough to tell whether it’s just surface-level or a bigger hidden moisture problem?

Thanks for any advice.
