[Discussion] Farm with marble deposit in Zacapa, Guatemala — exploring financing or partnership structures

Hello everyone!

Wanted to share something a bit unconventional and get some thoughts from people with experience in asset-backed deals or land investment.

I have access to a farm (finca) located in Zacapa, Guatemala that sits on a marble deposit. I'm not actively selling — more in the early stages of understanding what financial structures could make sense here, whether that's:

  • A joint venture with someone experienced in quarrying or natural stone
  • A land deal with mineral rights included
  • Some form of asset-backed financing to develop the deposit

The region is known for its geology and the marble appears to have commercial potential. I'm open to connecting with anyone who has dealt with mineral-rich land assets, emerging market real estate, or natural resource plays in Latin America or around the world.

Not looking for a quick transaction — just genuine conversations with people who understand this type of asset.

DMs open.

[Discussion] Marble deposit Guatemala — looking for input and connections

Hey everyone,

I recently came across a marble deposit located in the Zacapa region, Guatemala. I'm not here to push anything — just genuinely exploring options and curious to connect with people who have experience in natural stone, mining, or resource development in Central America.

The deposit appears to have commercial potential, but I'm at an early stage of evaluating what makes the most sense: whether that's development, partnership, licensing, or something else entirely.

If you've dealt with marble extraction, quarrying operations, or mineral rights in the region — or just have knowledge about the market — I'd love to hear perspectives. Open to any kind of conversation.

Feel free to DM or drop a comment.
