Regarding “nerdy” topics
I love the show, I don’t really care what the topic is about I love the banter and how off the rails the topic gets without fail.
That being said I don’t care at all about these housewife slop reality shows, I get they are popular that’s fine, do episodes on them, I was still entertained. However…
Why is it that whenever 40k, or EverQuest, Elden Ring, Baldur’s Gate or anything else nerdy comes up suddenly Ethan is like “is anyone watching” or “does anyone care about this” . We get like 10 minutes of nerdy stuff (that I personally care about) followed by an apology that they talked about it and then like three hours of gossip about a reality star. Why can’t we get both??? Sometimes it really seems like they want to talk about some of these nerdier things, but are afraid it will scare away their audience or something. People like different things and are here for the crew banter anyways, talk about what you like.
TLDR: Embrace the nerd stuff. Trust me when I say people watch the show for the banter and how off topic things get anyways.
