so lemme explain, gregory was made by william after david died, so he could replace david until he put him back together, there are multiple gregorys, the one right after the bite of 83, one where gregory is a grown up and is phone guy, and finally, the gregory we know in SB.
the gregory 83 (the nickname for the one built after the bite of 83) was also to be sure that elizabeth didnt go towards circus baby.

Changed my AU a tad bit. Gregory was made by William to replace David after he died, he was named David until security breach where he made a fake name, being Gregory. There are multiple Gregorys, one was a direct copy of david after he died. (The one with the black and white shirt is the Gregory that replaced david, i just wanted to show both of the designs.) And there's the grown up Gregory that is phone guy. David as golden Freddy, killed Gregory, but when he woke up, he found out he was a robot.
