Where is the best place to get a reliable car or is there anyone selling one?

I’m about to go on a trip across country and back next month and ofc someone hit me and totaled my car.

Im looking for something like an suv or a compact like my encore was. Something that can haul some stuff for when I move in a few months but not something massive like a truck. 4 wheel drive preferably and around 90,000 miles. I am looking for something around the 8-10,000 price range but I may be able to do more fore the right vehicle.

Any help is appreciated I just don’t want to end up with a car that cant make this trip as its very very important.
