Eloping to Scotland - please help us
Hi!
My fiancé and I are planning an elopement/secret wedding in Scotland and need a little bit of help.
We are going to Scotland in August/September and planning for the ceremony to take place in the start of September. We really like the Loch Lomond area from a previous trip to Scotland and would like the ceremony to be around that area, but we're open to suggestions for a even better place.
One thing we have to note is this won't be a marriage with wedding license and all that, since it's too much paperwork to get approved back home, but I've always dreamed about getting married in Scotland, so we'll do all the paperwork back home with our families, this ceremony is just for us.
Ceremony wise we're thinking exchange rings and handfasting, but we need help to where we find a person who would do this type of ceremony.
If anybody can recommend photographers we would also appreciate that. We want some pictures from the ceremony and some from afterwards, but not a multiple hour photo shoot.
