Found this spider outside my house. What is it?
Two days in a row, I found this spider outside my backdoor. First time, I moved it down the garden and, the second time, I moved it to the alleyway.
The fang things at the front (photo doesn't really show them, sorry) are about 5mm long and articulated.
It measured about 7cm but could probably stretch out more.
It was very docile this time but yesterday it was quite energetic.
I am in the Kent, UK and the weather is currently very warm and sunny, if that helps.
Google Lens said it was a Black Widow which, even I know, is wildly incorrect. So, I thought I would turn to the experts, any ideas?
