I’m shopping for a new rice cooker that can make GABA rice. This has narrowed the field to primarily Zojirushi and Cuckoo models. Many of the Cuckoo and a few Zojirushi models have a pressure cooking option, which I have never encountered in a rice cooker before. Is this feature worth the extra expense? Would I be better off with an induction rice cooker instead of pressure, both pressure and induction, or neither? I assume the pressure feature would shorten cooking times and it seems the induction feature would too. If you have any experience with pressure and/or induction rice cookers, please share your thoughts on the usefulness of these features!
