My custom Casio build with an Ollee module.

Started with an F 24W case I picked up on eBay, only to realize a bit too late that it did not come with a caseback. On top of that, the button cutouts were super shallow and it was missing the bottom right pusher entirely. Great start 😅

The case is designed for a twist on back, but finding one was impossible. So I improvised. A caseback from a Skmei watch actually fits surprisingly well. Not perfect though, there was a small gap and no mounting holes.

I drilled small pilot holes for the screws using the smallest bit I had, then mounted the Skmei caseback using its original screws. To seal everything up, I used 3M VHB foam tape. It looks and feels waterproof now.

Next problem, the buttons. I removed the original pushers, drilled new 1.9 mm holes in the correct positions, and transplanted the Skmei buttons instead. Much better fit and function.

For the internals, I installed an STN display and did a negative mod, then added an Ollee module to finish it off.

Final touch, I swapped in a strap from an F 84. It just suits the retro aesthetic way better.

Definitely a bit of a Frankenstein build, but I am really happy with how it turned out.
