Discover resort Neral/Karjat shitty place
Because I saw a lot of Thane cars I want to share my experience at the Discover resort it deserves zero stars. Not recommended for family with kids. Slippery swimming pool. A lot of mosquitoes,
Very disappointing experience at Discover Resort.
The property suffers from extremely poor management and customer service. The room was not properly cleaned and had a noticeable layer of dust and jaala in several areas. The AC was not functioning properly, making the stay uncomfortable.
For the amount we paid (around ₹39,187 for 2 nights on weekdays through an online booking), the basic amenities were shockingly inadequate. There was no toothbrush, toothpaste, hairdryer, room freshener, bathroom mat, and even the bathroom cleanliness (it was stinking like public toilet)was below acceptable standards.
What made the experience worse was the lack of support from the management team. Catherine, who works with Discover Resort’s management, was unwilling to assist with any of our concerns. Her response to almost every issue was that since the booking was made online, we should not contact her. There was no effort to resolve problems, provide alternatives, or ensure guest satisfaction.
Guests should receive the same level of service regardless of whether they book directly with the resort or through an online platform. Unfortunately, we felt completely ignored after check-in.
Considering the price charged, the quality of accommodation, cleanliness, amenities, and customer service were far below expectations. I would never zrecommend this resort based on my experience.
