Weather Warlock (WW) is a Sequence 2 with an authority that feels undeserving of its level. It’s true that weather is linked to warfare, but is simply manipulating the weather truly worthy of an Angel from the Calamity group? I reckon even a Sequence 5 could escape a weather-based attack from a WW. Think about it:
It takes hours for weather to submerge a single port, whereas a Sequence 2 Calamity can sink an entire island. A Sequence 2 Catastrophe creates disasters that affect both reality and the mystical realm. And a WW really need to lead a massive army just to trigger extreme weather that matches the power of a Catastrophe (Check the wiki)?
This authority seems primarily suited for support, much like how Purple Bird utilized it. We haven't even seen Medici or Lumian infuse a "Cull" effect into something like a hailstorm yet.
Ultimately, anything a WW can do, a Calamity or Catastrophe can do better and with much more variety.
