I own a few businesses and personally financed startup costs for some and R&D costs for others because it was more convenient. Now, one business has been established for 10 years, while the other is less than 2 years old. I’ve applied for patents through these businesses. I’m trying to craft an exit strategy for each over the next five years. What are some realistic financing options to transfer the debt to each organization?
