Had an interview for an AVP Digital Analytics role at a large company. The interview went reasonably well, but the recruiter later told me my profile is “on hold” while they continue interviewing other candidates and later told they will run a virtual hiring drive in the next couple of weeks.

The same job posting has also been reposted a few times on LinkedIn during this time.

Has anyone experienced being put on hold after final/VP rounds and then later receiving an offer? Or is this typically a sign that the company is looking for stronger candidates before making a decision?

Would appreciate hearing real experiences from hiring managers, recruiters, or candidates who have been in a similar situation.

I applied for a Greece Schengen visa from the UK via the Manchester consulate on 17th April and my application is still under processing.

Just wanted to check if anyone else applied around the same date through Manchester. Have you received any updates yet? Also, how long is it usually taking these days?
