Hello, I'd appreciate some advice regarding Fiordland NP logistics:
We will fly into Queenstown and are unsure when to get our rental car. Before or after Routeburn Track?
We'd end the Routeburn Track at The Divide and then explore Milford Sound and Lake Marian (before heading towards Wanaka, Aoraki Mt Cook NP etc).
Would it make more sense to get a shuttle from/to Queenstown for Routeburn Track, and perhaps even to Milford Sound/Lake Marian? I.e. only picking up the rental car when we drive from Queenstown to Wanaka?
Or would you recommend getting the car immediately after Routeburn and drive to Milford Sound?
Or even get the car before Routeburn and park it at The Divide and use a shuttle from Queensland to the start of the trail?
Would appreciate any advice!
