Well it’s been about 3 weeks since I got my RD. It’s still quite surreal, as a *HUGE* RD fan. I have always wanted a RD and have owned many clones from the Hagstrom Fantomen to the Dunable RD. This guitar is phenomenal. I had my Luthier set it up with my preferred strings of 11-56 in D standard and it absolutely RIPS.. this offering from Epiphone is so interesting to me because in my mind, this guitar makes the Gibson custom shop version even more pointless. Especially when you can get vintage originals for 4x less than the custom shop and now this for under $1k with all these insane features? To me this is the definitive RD on the market. What a beautiful guitar with such great quality. And for those curious, it does fit beautifully in vintage Gibson RD cases
