Beginner tips

I am a wanna be scare actor who has just gotten his first audition, I’m not sure exactly what scare acting auditions look like but I’ve heard it’s a lot of improvising which I’m nervous about. I have 2 questions:

  1. How do I deal with anxiety over the audition especially as the date gets closer.
  2. Any tips on improv acting? I know this isn’t specifically a scare acting subreddit but I thought the people here might be able to help.

I have virtually no experience and the only stuff I know is what I can find on YouTube so any and all advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Edit: i apologize if this another “beginner” post, I skimmed the beginner advice page and I didn’t find very much to help with my questions. If I missed something then I won’t mind if this post is deleted.
