Hello everyone,
on Facebook I saw a studio in a family house that doesn't accept domiciliation, and the landlady's motivation is that because it's a family house it would be tricky if I changed my domiciliation there. She is also using a standard contract for a student, but I am a trainee. I don't know if that's an issue.
I am registered in another district, and the police already came and checked. I still don't have the card, but they basically told me that they sometimes don't give it to you if you're only here for an internship, because they don't believe you're gonna secure a permanent contract and they don't want to bother administratively.
How risky is it to go on with such a contract and keeping my domicile and registration in another district/house? The contract lasts one year and honestly I hope I'll be able to move in a better place/area sooner anyway.
It's very cheap, that's why I'm considering it, but it's in rue des Pâquerettes, (Schaerbeek) so I'm not sure how well connected it is and if it's worth the risk...
Thank you for your help!
