Help needed

Hi, first time poster.

I have a lot of notepads/books. I buy them and like to use them - but abandon them part way through.

I have ADHD. I buy the next notebook thinking that it will help me organise my life or will magically transform my routine. It never does. The closest I got to this was during lockdown, I filled a Bullet Journal (which felt incredibly satisfying).

The thing is, the action of writing something down actually helps me remember things/helps clarify my thinking while listening during meetings. I also have a thousand ideas a day - they need somewhere to be remembered or they’ll never live.

I have been looking on here at people’s notebooks - I think the idea of a “special” kind of notebook - not just a cheap cast away “jotter” may be an avenue to explore. I’ve seen some lovely looking covers with the option of filling in with 3-4 thinner notebooks inside - this would appeal to me as I would need sections for work/ideas/life stuff/maybe even drawing/scribbling. More of a “system” than a notebook.

I realise that I may just be hoodwinking myself into buying a more expensive notebook here - but I think there’s something in the stewardship of such a thing that holds weight - not just a disposable notebook to cast into the pile of graph paper gravestones I’ve amassed.

If anyone has any suggestions for me to look into - I’m open to all comments and tips/tricks - anything!!! Based in the UK.

Hope this makes sense to someone :)

Thanks

Late to the game.

I know the game is over and all the trophies have been allocated - but I thought I’d give the ISRU app a go.

We don’t shoot hoop in the UK - we shoot cup.

This is the sport of Kings in any job that is mind numbingly dull.

I’ve still got the knack.

Comfort.

Posted this just to throw my 2ps worth into the discussion.

These are my first pair of GPS, from everything I’d read on the internet, I’ve got to say, I had serious concerns for my feet. The way a lot of people described how comfort wasn’t their strongest feature - I was literally expecting to put these on and to hobble around in them like they were those Japanese shoes made from blocks of wood!

I may be going out on a limb here - and it is just my own opinion - I think they’re pretty comfy! Even brand new/not broken in! 100 times more comfy than breaking in a new pair of Redwings 🤣

Again, just my opinion.
