The Mordor build.

Hey Folks.

I been lurker here that inspired me to do something a little different. So been on mission for the past couple of months updating my cooling and at same time, create LOTR theme in side my NZXT H7 case. Because it is black case, could not think of a better option than a Mordor build!

The AIO is Lian Li Hydroshift II-S LCD 360TL. The back fan (standard) and front fans (Reverse) are 120 MM Lian Li UNI Fan TL Wireless. I decided on Thermaltake CT120 EX ARGB Reverse blade for bottom because they fit much better in recessed bottom tray. The Lian Li 8.8 Universal screen was something that just felt right in this build. I was really impressed how easy this was to upgrade from my old setup. Lian Li really does great job with their products. Even though it required a little more complication with wireless stuff, it was WELL worth it.

This also improved my cooling. I was using the Corsair Nautilus 240 MM LCD. I had standard 120m light wing (RGB) fan in the back with be 120 mm silent wings fans on bottom and 140 mm Light wing (rgb) Reverse blade fans on front. I am running 14700F so I don't really have high temp chip anyway. Still My idle temp went from 35 to 32 and my Cinebench under load went from 80 down to 72. Hottest temp I got while gaming is 53 so far. In my old setup, it was between 56-58 on the same games. My machine is little louder but not that much. I have nothing but mad respect for Be Quiet fans but I think I am sold on Lian Li fans now for my personal builds going forward. These TL fans are beasts for cooling.

Anyway, I wanted to share because this community inspired me to be creative with my build and hoping I can do same for others.

Robert
