Anyone else have a moment where they had to choose between a perfect project and submitting on time?
Got handed a C++ OOP brief that is genuinely interesting (model a casino with a roulette inside it) but it would take me probably 40+ hours to do every operator and every exception class the brief lists. Have 7 days, three other deadlines, and a part-time job. The mature version of me knows 'ship the smaller version that still passes' is the right call. The CS major in me wants to build the entire thing and then complain about how I had no time. How do you all decide where to cut?
