“It was a threat”
So I just read through the whole Uncanny X-men run around revolutionary cyclops and not sure how to feel about it. Writing and story I think they were top notch (Bendis for the win) but I am very sad at the end because well as the name suggests “Cyclops was right” but it took him dying to a strike on an Omega Level mutant for everyone to realize. Now even though he got back and as far as I’m along he’s thinking of turning himself in, everything he did was as he put it “a threat” because nothing else has worked. Then came Krakoa, fall of the house of X and now the X-men live in Alaska hanging on to life from powers that still hunt them just because they’re mutants, and here I am now wondering what if Malloy was never in the equation? He’d still be right considering the current state of the X-men team led by Cyclops. I hope future runs actually give us at least an arc we’re cyclops can just chill and have a sandwich or something without dealing with all of…well pretty much al the mutant population on his back. But now I completely agree with this subreddits title.
