My PowerBook 145B is half dead

My PowerBook 145B is half dead

It always had a problem with capacitors, so today I wanted to recap it. I opened it, and then I underestimated how brittle the plastics get. All the screw posts of the HDD caddy turned to dust, and the HDD fell out, tearing the ribbon cable in two. I could repair it easily, but is it really worth 80-100 dollars? I need a BlueSCSI, and I need to source a parts machine for the ribbon cable. I still need to recap it too….

I’m new to vintage macs and idk what to do…

Keyboard-less PowerBook G3 problem

I picked this G3 up for 20 dollars at a thrift store. It is fully working except the missing keyboard. Last time I checked there was only one expensive replacement keyboard on eBay. Yall have any ideas?

My vintage Mac collection I’m 14

I’ve been into retro computing since last year and I got many vintage computers for very good deals since. Do you think these Macs are any interesting? What can I do on them?
