If you have a desk job, when did you return to work?
I had a double MD on L4-L5 & S1-L5 2 weeks ago. My recovery is going great so far and need to tell work when I return. I intially asked for 3 weeks off. But sitting is still not great for me and cant imagine sitting/standing at my desk for 8 hours a day, afraid that I will stiffen up and have a set back.
Log story short. Got pregnant with twins, was off from work for over a year on sick leave before birth plus maternity. Herniated when I was supposed to return. Then gradually returned part time, never really went back to full time because I reinjured myself which then led to my double MD. Now concerned that I will never return full time, not that I am dying to lol but I need the income.
How long did you take off work?
are you able to do full days of work?
did you end up switching to a different job?
