I am a PhD student and am applying for a postdoc position. The lab I applied to want me to do a chalk talk about my research and future plans. My question is, in this type of interview, do they expect me to list my future plans in details and explain the rational? (ps: I had 2 meetings with this PI to talk about their research and ongoing projects. Also their research topic is totally different from my PhD research). I will email the PI to ask for clarification. But I am just curious about what's the general expectation for a PhD student to talk about future plans. i also googled about this but most of those info are about chalk talk for applying a faculty position and they often use chalk talk to cover future plans.
