I’m in the interesting(?) position of having an employer that will cover a large portion of tuition for post-MSN to DNP, and then annual base salary increase in perpetuity. I actually get a pension, so I plan on working at this job as long as I can. I’ve always sworn I would never pursue a DNP, for all the reasons stated on the sub. But in this economy? Sign me up, I guess.

I’m not worried about school reputation. I’m looking at being cost-effective with the lowest amount of credit hours/project hours. I’m all about working smarter not harder.

Does anyone have experience with any of these schools in particular? Or any other programs I should consider?

- SUNY Brockport
- CUNY College of Staten Island
- University of Buffalo
- Binghamton University
- SUNY Upstate

Thanks all! Lurking here has definitely helped in terms of establishing expectations.
