I’m so sorry “Scary Movie” fans.
As someone who’s watched the series 10-15 times when I’ve been in a sad place this movie is absolutely dog water. I’m the guy that loves meet the Spartans, epic movie, and all the other “trash parodies”. This movie is just too scared to take risks, the recent Netflix Roasts with Tom Brady and Kevin Hart took substantial risks when it came to joke offensiveness. You can tell they were scared of backlash. You can tell some people showed up for a pay cheque and didn’t read the script.
If there’s another one, will I watch it? Of course, I’m a sucker for these movies, but for god sake please make it better.
