Has anyone gotten off or heard of anyone having gotten off of the UCLA waitlist for history? I saw a few humanities majors but not history. Wanted to check in. Do you guys think it's by major? Thanks!

Hey guys I was actually an applicant this fall, trying to see if I could transfer out of CC in one year. Unfortunately, this was not in my favor as I was either rejected or waitlisted everywhere. My dilemma is, just incase I don't get off the waitlist at ucla or uci, I want to stay another year.
But the sad part is, because I was very devoted to transferring in a year, I basically maxxed out on everything I could do at CC. This includes clubs and activities. As for credits, by the end of spring, I will be at 52 credits and I am pretty scared to go to CC for another year due to the credits. I was going to use my AP credits to get to 60 btw. I want ANY advice and congrats to those made it through.
More about my application: 4.0, History major, I thought my PIQs were pretty good but for UCLA I had a prereq pending for spring which might have led to the waitlist, I had research and community engagement as well as museum internship for ecs.
(P.S. I kind of what to do another year now? I don't know how it will benefit me.)
