Best Schools to Apply to?
Cheapest and best schools to apply to as a Maryland resident? I’ve got a 3.96 GPA but have yet to take the DAT. Thanks!

Hello everyone,
I've got 2 questions regarding letters of recs. Am I able to get a letter of rec from a lab professor who's currently doing his PhD, as long as it's cosigned by the course professor? Also, in this case, would I request the individual letter of rec from him or the course professor?
Thanks!
Hey everyone I’m looking for some advice on where to apply this cycle.
I’ve got a 4.0 GPA and I’m planning to take the DAT in late July. I’m trying to build a realistic school list and would love some feedback on whether this mix makes sense or if I should adjust. I’ve got hundreds of volunteer hours and thousands of dental assisting hours, but I’m lacking in research and unique experiences. I’m in state for MD and I’m in the BS/DDS Louisville program by the way. I’m trying to only apply to public schools that are good/cheap or that would give me in state after a year.
Current list:
UConn
UMich
UNC
UCLA
UCSF
UMD
UPitt
UW
UF
OSU
Rutgers
Louisville
I know a lot of these are pretty competitive, so I’m wondering:
Is this too top-heavy?
Should I be adding more safety schools?
Are there any schools here that are especially OOS-unfriendly or not worth it?
Appreciate any help!
