Hi, I’m back with more questions lol!
I’m planning to call the post office and ask, but I’m just wondering if anybody recently sent any boxes to America by boat- last I knew the post office suspended that service, but I am not sure if they ever brought it back. I sent a box recently and requested pick up through the app and they charged me the highest priority shipping ( which is fine, I guess. the package got there in two days lol but) just wondering if by boat was even an option because I feel like it hadn’t been since Covid and I have been in a time warp and I’m not sure if it’s back or not LOL ANYWAY any experiences shared are appreciated!

The headline is exactly the question- I’m expecting to leave Korea with at least 30 million in pension and severance payout and I was just wondering about the tax situation when I bring that money back home with me and deposited into my American account- is there some special reporting I have to do or documents I should collect for when I file my taxes?
Sorry if this is a vague question I’m not the most financially literate when it comes to tax documents and stuff- or if maybe someone could suggest who I should talk to about this~ I’d really appreciate it

I’m trying to figure out if I can even mail a package of books via the post office or if I have to use a private courier. (Edit: let me clarify that I’m asking if they’re accepting because of the tariffs or not. I know how to mail a package.)

I also read online that books and printed materials are not subject to the tariffs- can anyone corroborate on this? All I’m sending are books.

Tariff or not whatever 🙄 I’m still planning to send the package. I just wanna know if I can do it at my local post office or if I have to find a private courier.
