Cambridge is aware of increasing reports concerning the circulation of confidential examination materials prior to scheduled examinations during the June 2026 examination series.
Cambridge has confirmed that A Level Mathematics Paper 32 (9709/32), taken in Administrative Zones 3 and 4, was shared prematurely.
The security and integrity of Cambridge examinations are fundamental to ensuring fairness for all candidates worldwide. Any unauthorised access to, possession of, distribution of, or engagement with confidential assessment materials before the scheduled examination may constitute malpractice under Cambridge regulations.
Online Platforms and Examination Security
Cambridge is aware that examination-related discussions frequently occur on public online platforms, including r/IGCSE and other social media communities.
Candidates are reminded that confidential examination materials must not be requested, shared, reproduced, summarised, forwarded, or otherwise circulated before the relevant examination has concluded.
Community members are encouraged to report any content that appears to have been shared prematurely rather than engaging with or redistributing it.
Where appropriate, reports from candidates, schools, examination centres, moderators, and platform administrators may assist in the investigation of potential breaches of examination security.
Important Reminder to Candidates
Candidates must not:
• Request confidential examination content before an examination.
• Share or redistribute assessment materials that have been circulated prematurely.
• Publish screenshots, extracts, summaries, or answers derived from confidential content.
• Assist others in obtaining or distributing examination materials.
• Attempt to gain an unfair advantage through access to confidential assessment content.
Possible Consequences
Where sufficient evidence exists, Cambridge may investigate suspected malpractice in accordance with its established procedures.
Depending on the circumstances of a case, sanctions may include:
• Cancellation of results for affected components.
• Disqualification from a syllabus.
• Withholding of results.
• Other actions permitted under the applicable Cambridge regulations.
Candidates should not assume that deleting posts, comments, messages, or accounts will necessarily prevent an investigation where evidence of malpractice exists.
