I recently picked reading back up as I have the time to do it now. I read “Children of Time” after a lot of recommendation as I love sci-fi, and I decided I had to read the rest of the books it was so good.

So I continued and read Children of Ruin. Besides 2 chapters, this book was more of the same, and really, really hard to stick with.

Now, I am on Children of Memory. I’ve seen great reviews compared to CoR, and wanted to love it, but after a few chapters it -again- feels like rehashed CoT with no really new or interesting concepts.

For anyone who’s read it - does it get better? Is it worth to stick to it if I loved CoT? I’m thinking of DNF’ing it but I’m kinda afraid I am gonna miss out on something great later on.
