i think my mom is cheating on my dad.
Hi, so I’ve been noticing a change in her behaviour for the last two months. She’s become extremely protective of her phone and never leaves it alone in a room. I had been suspecting that something was wrong, but I never imagined she would do something like this.
She’s talking to a man (around her age or older, I don’t know). Earlier, she used to say, “Oh no, he’s just a friend,” or “Kabhi kabhi baat kar lete hain.” And okay, there’s nothing wrong with talking occasionally. But she talks to him daily.
One day, I saw a WhatsApp notification, and after some time, that notification was deleted. Obviously, that felt suspicious. So I checked the notification history, and yeah, she’s cheating on my dad with this man. The notification I saw was disgusting — there was a message saying all the things he wanted to do to my mother.
This is disgusting, and I don’t even know what she replied. She’s the kind of person who never takes shit from anyone, so why is she doing all this? My dad is so nice, and their marriage seems good. I can’t believe she could do something like this.
Today is their anniversary. She was in the bathroom, so I checked her phone. There were no chats on WhatsApp, so I checked the notification history again. Same disgusting messages.
I don’t know what to do. I can’t tell my brother, and I can’t tell my father. I’m not able to get this out of my mind either. I genuinely don’t know what to do.
