I’m starting COS for the third time. So far I’ve not gotten a party more than 4 or 5 sessions in due to scheduling nightmares. My newest group is committed to meeting weekly and asked if I would run COS.

Two of my players (two without scheduling headaches) have started COS with me and have been through death house before. I’d like to find an alternative that I can still connect to Strahd as death house isn’t really a surprise for them anymore.

Any ideas?

I played battletech religiously in the 90s with my brother, dad, and friends. I haven’t played a game since then. (Not counting MWO which I played too much for a while.)

Where do I start if I want to jump back in?
