PR on a random Thursday morning? Sure why not?! I wasn’t even really trying to PR, today was my first run back in a few days because I overdid it last week and needed to rest. But I guess my body, legs and mind had other ideas! I beat my last 10K time by 2 minutes, that is absolutely insane to me! I can’t believe how far I’ve come and I’m super proud of myself 💛

So I’m in a marathon training block, my race is in November(I know it’s WAY out there, but I’m trying to make some big improvements).
I’ve got at least two races scheduled, one 5k and one 10K. And I’m sure there will be others lol I’ve got the race bug
My question is: would you run these races all out, max power and effort? Or use them as slow and steady to help build up my aerobic base and stamina?
I know my race is still aways out, but I’m just curious for some advice from more seasoned runners!
