My DKMG
Hello, these are all pictures after I had this DKMG setup by a local guitar tech. All frets were crowned and leveled as they were believed to be damaged. As you can see, they would not be considered jumbo any longer. The original bridge was fine, but one of the saddles had worn down. Even bending the B string, it would pop out of the groove it had cut itself. So I found an older jackson branded Floyd rose, as you can see, it is different than what these models came with. Tech had to do some work to actually get the bridge to fit. Pickups were the HZs. Upon removal, they were labeled 2005. These Wilkinson pickups are passive and are very similar to Seymour Duncan's. Lastly, tone pot was removed, and volume knob was moved to the tone position. Old tone pot hole was plugged with what I believe are pvp end caps.
