25M considering deviated septum surgery at Kozhikode Medical College – need advice
Has anyone here undergone nose reconstructive surgery / septoplasty / rhinoplasty at Kozhikode Medical College Hospital in Kerala?
I’m 25 years old and I have a diagnosed deviated septum. I’m considering surgery mainly for functional difficulties, not cosmetic reasons. I’ve been dealing with breathing problems for a long time, along with some difficulty in speaking and occasional hearing pressure/discomfort.
I wanted honest feedback from people who have actual experience with the ENT or plastic surgery department there.
Would like to know:
- How experienced are the doctors?
- How was the surgery outcome?
- Did breathing improve after surgery?
- Waiting period and overall process?
- Post-surgery care and follow-up experience?
- Any complications or things I should be aware of?
- Government hospital pros and cons compared to private hospitals?
