Question to those who have experience! I am US citizen and will be transitioning through Kenya on my way to Tanzania. I have a question about yellow fever vaccine requirement. Here is situation:

-arriving into NBO at 7am

-transiting to Wilson airport in Kenya for a flight at 1:10pm to Arusha airport in Tanzania

-total time in Kenya 6 hours

Will I be given a hard time if I don't have the yellow fever vaccine? Everything I've read says as long as you are under 12 hours your fine but other people say if you leave airport in Kenya then even if your are under 12 hours it will be required? I prefer not to get it if not necessary but dont want to be in bad situation at the airport.

Anyone with experience would greatly appreciate input! Thanks in advance.
