Greta is an 8y/o GSD. Rescued a 6 wk old kitten, Fern. Fern has been to the vet, dewormed and has been bathed with Dawn to rid the fleas. Fern has been in the laundry room behind a pet gate. Greta has observed with occasional whining (she whines pretty consistently even if there were no cat in the house. If I go to the bathroom or get ready for work or get her leash for a walk or if she wants to play ball or if we sit down on the couch…she whines. 🙄 ) Greta is a sweet dog but the prey drive is a little scary to me. She will chase squirrels, birds, lizards and neighbor’s cats out of our yard. I would appreciate any advice on introducing them without the gate. Thanks in advance!!
