How long did it take you to adapt to training in tropical heat?
Started training in Bang Tao with my wife - second session today, open-air gym under a roof. We came home, slept, and woke up absolutely wrecked: headaches, eye strain, muscle pain, she threw up once. Definitely underestimated the electrolyte loss. Years ago I had 2 much harder and longer trainings per day in my country and had zero problems.
For those who've trained long-term in Thai climate:
- How long before your body actually adapted?
- What's your hydration/salt routine that actually works?
- What recovery practices made the biggest difference?
Not trying to be a fighter, just want to train for fun without putting ourselves in the ER. Any advice appreciated.
