Hello! So excited to have been admitted to Bowdoin's Class of 2030, as it has been the dream for so long. However, I have some questions for current or recently graduated students. Do you guys find that the academic culture is overwhelming or too much to manage? Are classes, specifically for Government & Legal Studies/Economics, and other humanities majors, particularly difficult? I've heard about the "Bowdoin B", and I've found it difficult to conflate Bowdoin's excellent graduate school placement with potential "deflation". I might be way off base, but I wanted to ask current/recent students their experiences.

Also, I've taken classes at my local community college, and have been able to navigate which professors to take/avoid through Rate My Professor. Does Bowdoin's smaller student population make websites like this less of a viable resource? If so, how do students usually find our what courses to take/avoid?

Thank you so much for reading this!
