If we want our favorite sites to survive, we need to stop talking about them publicly.

Every time a site trends on TikTok, Twitter, or Reddit, it’s like handing a "search warrant" to anti-piracy groups. Here is why we need to stay silent:

  • Starve their budget: Anti-piracy groups have massive but finite budgets. If a site stays small and "hard to find," it costs them way more time and money to track it down. If we stay quiet, we make their "cost-per-takedown" too high to maintain.
  • Avoid the "Big Name" target: These organizations go after the biggest names first to get the most PR. If we stop hyping sites into "the next Zoro," they stay off the priority list.
  • Protect the mirrors: When the main site stays low-key, the backup servers stay safe. Public exposure leads to "domain seizures" that kill the whole ecosystem.

The Strategy:
Share links only in private DMs. Don't use site names in hashtags. Let the investigators do their own homework—don't do it for them for free.
